I wasn't lecturing and know that Johnson is a proper fan. I'm sure you are too.
The point I'm trying to get across is that he has spent many a year following us up and down the country when we have been dog shit, so now that we are doing well both on and off the pitch it is a shame that he has become so bitter and twisted about the owners, as it must be spoiling his enjoyment a bit.
I agree with a lot of what he thinks but there is no point in harping on about it so much.
West Ham has changed a hell of a lot in the past 20 odd years and will continue to do so. It's sad that it has gone this way but the writing has been on the wall for years and would have happened regardless whoever we had owning us. I happen to think it could be a hell of a lot worse if we did have different owners.
Football isn't for the working class man anymore but for me it's a case of walk away from it or try to enjoy it for what it is.
